REFERRALS
Refer flyers,
lower your fee.
Refer people who become members and your own broker fee gets lower automatically. It starts at 9% — bring members and it drops to a floor set by your tier, as low as 2% for Commander members.
Aviator members and up can refer anyone, and it's their own fee that gets lower. A guest referred in never earns this ongoing discount, in any form — theirs is a different, one-time welcome instead.
How it works
Five rules, in plain language.
No codes to redeem, no wallet — just a fee that moves automatically.
Refer, and your fee gets automatically cheaper
Aviator members and up can refer anyone. No codes, no wallet — your own broker fee simply goes down, applied automatically to your next flight.
The more members you bring, the lower it goes
Each person you refer who becomes a member pushes your fee down another step, automatically — until it reaches your tier's floor, as low as 2% for Commander members. We never take nothing; that's how we keep flying sustainable.
Keep them as members to keep your rate
Your lower fee lasts as long as the people you referred keep their membership. Nothing is ever taken from your account — your fee simply recalculates as their memberships change.
Perks come from your tier, not your referrals
Referrals still move your fee, down to a floor your own tier sets. Upgrade that tier and you get both: a lower floor, plus the concierge, honorific and first-look perks that come with it.
Miss a payment, and the clock starts
Your referral discount lives while you stay a member. If a payment fails, we automatically retry it against the payment method on file. If those retries don't succeed and your membership deactivates, the members you referred detach for good — come back later and you start fresh with new referrals.
Two different rewards
Don't confuse the two.
If you were referred
Your gift is 50% off the broker fee on your first 2 flights — a one-time welcome, no membership required. It fades after that; to keep saving, become an Aviator and start referring.
If you refer
Your own broker fee keeps getting lower, automatically, toward your tier's floor — as low as 2% for Commander members — for as long as the people you referred keep their membership.
Only Aviator members and up ever earn the ongoing discount above. A guest never earns it, in any form — their reward is the different, one-time welcome instead.
How your rate moves
Keep your referrals as members, and keep your rate.
Your rate moves with how many of the people you referred are active members right now — not with how often they fly. Each one who keeps their membership keeps your fee a little lower. If one lets their membership lapse, your rate drifts back up until someone else keeps theirs active.
You'll only ever see counts — how many of your referrals are active members right now. We never show you who they are, where they flew, or when, and there's no per-person breakdown anywhere.
What it looks like to you
One program, five different views.
Guest
A one-time welcome: 50% off the broker fee on your first 2 flights, no membership needed. To start earning your own ongoing discount, become an Aviator.
Aviator
Refer members and your own fee drops automatically. Savings apply to your next flight.
Captain
The same automatic discount as Aviator, plus you choose which of your own flights your referral savings apply to.
Squadron
One shared rate and one referral pool for every flyer on the account — any flyer's active referrals lower the rate for everyone on it, down to the Squadron floor.
Commander
Referral savings come off our already-capped margin — each active referral is one more step down, to the 2% Commander floor. The climate contribution is never discounted.
If you're an Aviator, Captain or Squadron member, the annual price you join at is yours for as long as you stay a continuous member — if we raise prices later, you keep paying what you started at. Commander is the exception: its price and margin cap can be revised.
Why we do this
Valdor offsets it with volume.
We'd rather have thousands of members flying at a fair fee than a few paying through the nose. The referral program is that philosophy made real — the more the community grows, the less everyone pays.
